Whether you are pre- or post-operation, Physical Therapy is recommended to facilitate a speedy recovery and improve proper healing of your surgical site.
Before surgery, we at Boise Physical Therapy 180 will educate you on the surgery protocols, train movement patterns that you may utilize post operation to improve safety and healing, and prepare your body for a big change. We want you to be prepared, confident, and capable before and after your surgery.
After surgery, at Boise Physical Therapy 180 we are trained to optimize your recovery. Our initial goals are to help you manage pain, reduce swelling, and regain range of motion. Once the surgical site is healed and you’ve met your initial goals, we are able to progress into strengthening, daily activities, higher level activity, and return-to-sport programs to meet your specific goals in a safe manner.
Our clinical team Boise Physical Therapy 180 is well versed in working with a variety of pre and post-operative orthopedic conditions, including total joints and arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee, ankle and shoulder. We are also skilled in rehabilitating traumatic fractures with or without surgical correction of the foot and ankle, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and shoulder. We also treat spinal surgeries, including cervical and lumbar fusion, discectomy, and laminectomy.
