Jacob Rosenbaum, owner of Owyhee Acupuncture, is known for his passion and his heart. He has worked in the field of Chinese Medicine since 2012 and is an alumni of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. Jacob has completed multiple apprenticeships under 5-Element and TCM practitioners. His unique treatment style reflects this training and utilizes a blend of classical acupuncture and sports medicine acupuncture techniques. Jacob has worked in clinics all across the country providing care for a wide variety of patient demographics ranging from the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California to right here in the high desert of the Treasure Valley. Throughout this range of experience in practice Jacob has had the opportunity to work with countless unique cases. Jacob is also no stranger to what it’s like being a patient. Through living a life of exploring, adventure and hard training he has found himself “on the other side of the table” many, many times. In fact, it was the experience of years of navigating the valley of Lyme disease as a teen and the life saving care from an acupuncturist Jacob received in the Appalachian mountains that set him upon the path of Chinese and integrative medicine.
